Atomic headed to New York City to visit the offices of LSEG Data & Analytics, the very memorable and catchy new name of the company formerly known as Refinitiv. LSEG is an American-British global provider of financial market data and infrastructure that is a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters.
Whew.
Oh, they also happen to be a Docusign client.
Atomic’s mission was to tell the story of how Docusign helps LSEG do business around the globe. There’s no better backdrop in the world than downtown Manhattan to shoot interviews of key LSEG personnel.
On day one, we rented the 30th floor of the Skylark, a premier cocktail lounge and event space with an unmatched view of the New York skyline. The stunning space offered an excellent backdrop for interviews.
We spent the second day capturing b-roll around the Times Square offices of LSEG/Refinitiv. It included some abstract shots of shapes and patterns, which Creative Director Ken Cook used to create artistic flare during editing.
The shoot confirmed a long-standing Atomic belief: Locations are often underrated in general talking-head interviews because the spaces you shoot can often make or break a video.
