The Academy of Art University in San Francisco wanted to drive brand awareness and bolster the school’s image with this 60-second TV ad. It was a change in approach for the school, which had mostly concentrated on conversion campaigns in the past. The goal of the “I Want to be Inspired” campaign was to show what the school’s students were looking for and why they came to the Academy of Art University. The shoot ran for a handful of days and took the Atomic staff across the Bay Area. The actors were shot in front of the green screen at our studio. One of the challenging aspects of this project was compositing the action into computer laptop and desktop screens because if it were done incorrectly, it would have distracted viewers from the spot’s message. Atomic editors added reflections and graphical nuances to make sure it looked as realistic as possible.
